Please come and support both clubs, have a fun and different day and raise money for charity. This replaces the Bank Holiday President v Captain game.
£5 for members who will bowl and have lunch, £3 for social members and partners, who will watch and have lunch.
Wear what you like, other than swim wear. Dinner suits, fine. Fancy dress, fine. Jeans and a T shirt, fine. Bowlers must, of course, wear bowls shoes.
You are welcome to bring your partner. If you don’t have a partner bring a friend. If you don’t have a friend, we still want to see you there.
See Ann Jenkins or Gill Lewis for tickets. You are asked to bring cold food for 3 or 4 people and will be asked what food you plan to bring. You might then be asked to bring something else, so we don’t end up with lots of the same dishes.
Play will start at 11.00 and we think the event will end about 16.30. Some bowling will be what you are used to, some will not be! The watchword is “fun”.
We will have a spider, there will be prizes to be won, and a raffle.
Don’t forget to bring your cash as it’s a day to have fun doing something different, and to raise money for charity.
It needs you there to make it work.
